- Is this site really free?
Yes, we have worked very hard to bring you all the features you would expect and still keep it free. We do not have multiple subscription levels, all features are available to everyone. Standard text messaging rates do apply from your phone carrier. Please see your phone carrier for full details.
- How do you reduce SPAM?
SPAM messages are not something anyone looks forward to. We take this very seriously. By validating your email address and cell phone number in the beginning we ensure that messages are only sent to the people who use this service. If for any reason you are concerned that you might be receiving spam messages from us, please contact us imeadiately.
- Do you send text messages to international phones?
No, at this time we only send text messages to US based cell phones. If you have a US cell phone in an international market, you should be able to receive text messages throughout the world. Please check with your phone carrier for full details.
- Duplicate Reminders
If your event occurs on multiple days, it is easy to setup up your reminder where you would receive multiple reminders about the same event on the same day. For example, if you schedule an event for Every Saturday and Sunday, and then you select to be reminded about that event on the day of the event and the day before the event. You will receive 2 reminder messages on Saturday. One message would be telling you that today is the day of the event and one message would be telling you that the event will also happen tomorrow, on Sunday. Each email reminder will explain at the bottom of the message the reminder's schedule and how long before the event takes place.
- How do I automatically delete reminders after the event has passed?
The system will automatically delete the old, non-reoccurring reminders for you. What happens is each month, around the beginning of the month, the system checks for reminders that are not reoccurring and are over 30 days old, and then sends you an email saying the following reminders will be automatically deleted after 60 days. That way you have 30 days to update them, or they will be automatically deleted.
- How do I view my reminder list in order by date?
Unfortunately, because of how the reminders are stored, to be able to accommodate all the different scheduling options, there isn't a way to put them in order by date. Your best option is to use the Calendar, to see which ones will come up next.
